Precipitated Silica

Precipitated Silica is a synthetic form of silicon dioxide produced through a chemical precipitation process. It is widely used for its excellent reinforcing, thickening, anti-caking, absorbent, and matting properties in various industrial and commercial applications.

Precipitated Silica is commonly used in rubber products, tires, toothpaste, food additives, paints, coatings, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, animal feed, and industrial chemicals. Its high purity, surface area, and performance-enhancing properties make it an important material in automotive, healthcare, food, and manufacturing industries.

Applications

Tire Manufacturing :

Precipitated Silica is used in tires to improve rolling resistance, fuel efficiency, wet grip, and overall tire durability.

Rubber Products :

Used in footwear, conveyor belts, hoses, seals, and industrial rubber products as a reinforcing filler to increase strength and wear resistance.

Toothpaste Industry :

Commonly used in toothpaste as a gentle abrasive and thickening agent for effective cleaning and smooth texture.

Food Industry :

Used as an anti-caking agent in powdered food products and seasonings to prevent moisture absorption and lump formation.

Paints and Coatings :

Applied in paints, coatings, and varnishes to improve matting effect, scratch resistance, and surface finish quality.

Cosmetics and Personal Care Products :

Used in face powders, creams, lotions, and skincare products for oil absorption and smooth texture enhancement.

Plastics and Polymer Compounds :

Used in plastics and polymer products to improve mechanical strength, durability, and processing performance.
